About the Characters in films and books J.K. Rowling has talked about the "Big Seven" and in it are Harry Potter(DanielRadcliffe), Hermione Granger(EmmaWatson), Ronald Weasley(RupertGrint),Draco Malfoy(TomFelton),Ginny Weasley(BonnieWright),Luna Lovegood(EvannaLynch),Neville Longbottom(MatthewLewis).
"I think they kept all the same people because after we saw the first film, we had the image of the character in our heads and just associated Harry Potter from then on with Daniel Radcliffe, Ron Weasley with Rupert Grint, Hermione Granger with Emma Watson, and so on." says Danielle Steitz Ron in the book was a ginger with a face full of freckles and green eyes. In the movies Ron was a giner with some freckles and light green eyes so they did get him mostly right. hermione in the book was a bushy brown haried girl with freckles sprikled on her face. in the books she was a curly brown haired girl with no freckles to be seen. Harry was a scrawny little boy with brown messy hair, greeny eyes and a lightning scar. In the movies he had the messy brown hair, lightning scar, he was scrawny but he had blue eyes! Major mistake in the movies. "Ron is my favorite character because of not only his sense of humor, but he is also genuinelly caring about his friends and his family. I also like Fred and George, but mainly because of their snse of humor"-Georgia Kourakas The main reason Snape had a connection with Lily, Harry's mother, was becasue he was in love with her in his childhood and still is. The reason he is protecting him because he had the same eyes as his mother. That made him remeber his love Lily. "There was a connection that Snape had with his mother and Harry had his mother's eyes. Thats why Snape agreed to protect hijm."-said Nicole Damazo Hagrid has been very well cast because he resembles everything J.K. Rowling describes right down to the pink umbrella. "Hagrid is my favorite character since he is always there for Harryb and cares for him like a big brother or the father figure and his beard is hug"-Tyler Olszewski |
