Arguments
After dinner, we all sat around the fire and talked. Sirius and I were getting into a intense argument on wheither or not he was mature.
"You know, Jess. Just because I don't act it, it dosen't mean I'm not mature." He said.
"Well Sirius," I said, trying to keep my voic down. "If you are so mature, why exactly don't you act mature?"
"I do to." He said.
"No.You.Do.Not." I said, my voice rising with each word.
"Yes I do! I'm practically a man, because I've already done it twice!" He yelled.
"No it dosen't make you a man!" I yelled, not even trying to keep my voice down. "Being a man is taking responsibilty for your actions!Something you should do more often!" Then, I heard him growl. A growl that I only here when he's in his dog form, protecting us.
"What are you going to do?" I asked, my voice quiet and soft, but it sort of sounded like a growl, since my animagus was a Husky. "Are you going to hurt me? I'd like to see you do that." We both glared at each other, his brown eyes trying to bore into my green eyes. "That's what I thought." I growled before storming up the stairs.
I enterred the room, changed into my pj's and layed in my bed, reading a book. A couple minutes later, Lily and Erica entered. Lily walked over to my bed and sat on the edge.
"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked.
"No, not really." I said. She sighed and got up. I continued looking at my book, though I didn't read it. After a long thought process, I decided not to be the first to apologize.
Sirius's POV
Jess and I are used to fighting. Actually, everyone is used to us fighting. Usually, we would fight, and after a ten minute cool down, we would hug and go back to being normal. Not this time. This time was a real one.
"No it dosen't make you a man! Being a man is taking responsibilty for your actions!Something you should do more often!" She yelled. That one hit a nerve. It hit a nerve that only my family has ever hit. I growled at her. A growl that I only use in my dog form, when threatened.
"What are you going to do?" She asked in a voice that she's never used before. "Hurt me? I'd like to see that." We both glared at each other, and I saw in her eyes that she was actually full out angry at me. Or maybe it was more of hatred. "That's what I thought." She said before storming off. The whole entire common room was silent.
"Nice going, Sirius." A kid said. Luckly for them, I didn't see who said that.
"I'll go talk to her." Lily said before going up the stairs, followed by Erica. I flopped on the couch.
"What was that about, mate?" James asked. I didn't answer. I was still pissed off with what Jess said. While James, Remus and Peter tried cheering me up, I made a desicion not to be the first to apologize.
Author's Note:
