Hogwarts Here I Come
The next morning, I got up super early and put my clothes. I went downstairs with my owl, Finnick. The reason why it's named that is because it has dark brown feathers and sea green eyes, like Finnick Odair from the hunger games.
Anyway, when I got downstairs, I saw Lee already downstairs.
"What are you doing down here?" I asked.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" He says.
I sit down next to him and pick a apple from the fruit basket in the center of the table. Instead of eating it, threw it in the air and caught it.
"Nervous?" Lee asked.
"Yeah. You?" I asked.
"No. Cause everythings going to be ok." Lee says
"How do you know?" I asked.
"All you need to do is tell yourself that nothing bad is going to happen and it will come true." Lee said.
"How would you know? You've never been sorted." I say.
"You know, you always ask how or why. Why won't you just shut up and try something with out questions for a change?" Lee asked.
I glared at him for a second, then threw the apple in the air again, deciding not to talk to Lee for awhile.
Thirty minutes later, mum and dad ran downstairs, looking like a mess.
"Are we late?" Mum asked.
"Nope." I answer.
"Good." she says, sitting next to me. I could tell that she was still angry at Lee because she barley talked to him.
When it was time to leave, we all put our trunks in the back of our mini van. Unlike most wizarding families, my parents had a lot of both muggle and wizard money.
On the way to King’s cross, I started talking to Lee again. I know I said I was going to quit talking to him, but he’s my barley big brother, and he made me start talking to him. Anyway, we mostly talked about the houses.
"I'm gonna be in Gryffindor." I say.
"Really? You seem like a Hufflepuff." Lee said.
"And you seem like a Slytherin." I shot back.
"Hey! No joking about things like that. You both will most likely get into Gryffindor. If not that then Ravenclaw." Dad says.
"That will probably be you." Me and Lee say together at the same time.
When we got to the train station, we started walking towards platforms 9 & 3/4. We had done this two other times. One was only for Charlie, the second one was Percy’s first time. We got to the platforms and immediately saw the Weasleys.
"Hey." I said to the twins once we had gotten over there.
"Hey. This year is going to be awesome." George says.
"And why's that?" I ask. They glance over to their mum, who was talking to mine.
"We'll tell you on the train. If mum hears, she'll probably go bazirrick on us." George says.
The rest of the time went by quickly. We ran through the wall and turned up in wizard train station. We got our stuff on the train and waved our parents good-bye as the train pulled away.
After we lost sight of our parents, we all found a empty compartment and sat down.
"Now what is this you guys couldn't say out in the open?" I asked.
"This year, we’re going to pull a prank or joke on everyone in our house, which is going to be Gryffindor." Fred says.
"Well, not Lee. He's our partner in crime." George adds.
"Or me, because you guys have had years of pulling pranks on me." I say.
"Brittany, five pranks from three years don't count." Fred says.
"You guys had all that time to play more pranks on me. That’s your fault, not mine." I say.
"Fine." George says. They all know I'm stubborn so they wouldn’t have much of a choice but to not prank me.
The boys started going over all their pranks, so I just put in the headphones to my I-pod touch in and turned my play list song to my favorite Nicki Minaji song, 'Romans Revenge' After awhile though, I dosed off, my head on George's shoulder.
