Moony's Night
The next morning, I woke up to music. Without noticing it, I had slept with my earphones in my ears, the music blaring. I took them out, and looked around. No one was there. For a moment, I panicked, then remembered that today was Saturday. Today was also the day for a full moon. I thought about that for a moment, them my stomach growled really loud, and I got out of bed, and put on some capris and a old shirt with some converse.
I went down stairs, and saw that everyone was outside, meaning breakfast was over. I sighed, and walked outside. I saw the marauders at their usual tree, and walked over to them.
"Hey." I said glumly.
"Hi." They said. Sirius pulled a small bundle out of his hoody pocket, and handed it to me. I un-wrapped it, and saw a biscuit, two muffins, and lots of bacon. I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him.
"Thank you!" I said, before digging in. I ended up giving most of my bacon to the others, which I wasn't all to happy about. After eating, we all started talking. Then, James yelled "Oi!" At something. We all turned, and saw Lily and Severus walking and talking to each other. I grabbed James's arm.
"Drop it." I said sternly. He pulled his arm away, and slumped on the ground.
"Why does she care about that thing so much?" He asked. I narrowed my eyes.
"First, he's a person. Second, because they are childhood friends. If you really want Lily to get past despising you, you could start with stop acting like a big flirt. She hates that." I said. He got a thoughtful look on his face.
"What else does she dislike?" He asked. I smirked.
"You." He went silent.
Later on that day, I was just talking to Remus, when Professor Dumbledore walked over to us.
"Mr. Remus, do you mind if I speak to you for a moment?" Dumbledore asked.
"Uh… sure Professor." He said. They walked to a place out of earshot from others. Five minutes later, Remus walked back over to me, and we continued our conversation like nothing happened.
Around 8:30, Madame Pomfrey took Remus away to the shrieking shack. The rest of us went back to the common room. I changed out of my yellow shirt, and into a hoody, though the purple in it sort of glowed (outfit: http://www.polyvore.com/padfoot_player_has_fallen_in/set?id=35005872). I went back downstairs, and saw the others had just put a black hoody on.
"Looks like we're going to rob a bank or something." I whispered, sitting next to Sirius. We started up a conversation, and waited till the last person left the common room.
James pulled out his invisibility cloak, and told Peter to transform into his animagus form. Within seconds, he was a rat. I took a shuddering breath, because I have had bad experiences with rats. I kept reminding myself that this was one of my friend.
Sirius picked up Peter, and James threw the cloak over our heads. I suddenly became aware of how close together we were standing. It made me feel uncomfortable.
We quietly walked out the school, and when we got as close as we could to the tree, I used the levitation spell on a twig to push the knot. We all crept in the hole, and walked in silence, till we got to the entrance of the shrieking shack. There, we transformed.
Quietly, we slipped in the room. Remus was already a werewolf. He sniffed us, growled, and surged forward, only to be pushed back by Prongs. I went to the corner, and laid down, just watching Moony, feeling more and more pity for him every second, even though he said not to. Padfoot walked over to me, laid down, and put his head on my neck. I sighed, and closed my eyes. Before I knew it, I was fast asleep.
The next time I woke up, I saw Moony looking out the window. The others were sleeping. Everything looked weird, with being a dog and everything. I slowly moved my head, and Padfoot's head plopped to the ground. He snorted a little, and continued snoring as loud as a dog could. I slowly lifted my head, and Moony tensed, and turned around. I caught his eye, and we kind of had a staring contest, then something clicked, and he must of recognized who I was. I slowly got up, and walked over to him. He sniffed me, and continued looking out the window. I peeked a little, and saw that he was staring at the moon, that was starting to fall.
We both silently watched it, till it was just peaking over the mountains. I walked back over to the corner, and after a couple minutes, Moony started howling in pain. The others immediately woke up. We watched as the werewolf started shrinking, and the howling turned into yelling in pain. It brought tears to my eyes. When we could start identifying his body parts, I walked out of the room. I don't care if I'm in dog form or not, I don't want to see anyone, especially my friends, naked. They had a bag with all the clothes. I heard the others start talking, then my clothes were thrown out into the hallway. I dragged them into a room, changed into human form, and quickly put my clothes on, before anyone got any ideas.
I walked to the tunnel thing, and the others were soon there. We all walked back, talking, while helping Remus walk, since he was tired and weak at the moment. We made it through without any problems, and up to the common room. I decide to stay at their dorm, since we were already in there room. I flopped on Sirius's bed, and he lied next to me. I snuggled close to him, and he kissed me on the forehead before I went to sleep.
(I don't really know if this is a good chapter. I had just woken up, all this tuff bubbling in my head a 1:27 in the morning, so, I don't know if it makes since)
