I missed it all??!!
The next time I woke up, Lily was all in my face.
“A little personal space, if you please.” I said. She sat down on my bed.
“Tell me everything. I tried asking Remus, but he just said it was a normal sleepover. What does he mean, exactly?” She asked all in one breath. I carefully tried explaining everything to her, but she would either gasp or giggle. When I got to the part where I kissed Remus, she about died.
“You kissed Remus? I can’t believe it! No wonder he didn’t want to talk about it. How was it? Was he a good kisser?” She shot those questions at me so quickly, I barely knew what she was saying.
“Yes, I kissed Remus. It was weird, and our lips barely touched, so I don’t really know if he was a good kisser.” I said. Then my stomach growled. “I’m hungry.”
“Oh! Um… you missed breakfast. And Lunch.” She said.
“What?!” I said, both shocked and surprised.
“You slept until 1:30.” She said.
“Why didn’t you wake me?” I asked.
“I tried, but you threatened to hex me into next week if I tried again. I got angry for a while, but then cooled off.” She said.
“Sorry.” I muttered.
“Well, we could go to Hogsmeade and get something from the shops.” Lily suggested. I quickly got up, put on some clean clothes, and put my hair in a messy ponytail.
We went downstairs and headed to Hogsmeade. When we got there, we went straight to the Three Broomsticks. We both bought butterbeers and some sandwich. We started eating and talking, when we were rudely interrupted by the Marauders.
“Hello.” Sirius said. I took a bite out of my sandwich in return.
“Why did you leave so early?” James asked. I held up my index finger as a wait sign. I swallowed and answered.
“It was time for me to go.” I said.
“But we haven’t seen you until know.” He said.
“I was…. busy.” I said.
“Doing what?” Sirius asked.
“None of your business.” I said. He rolled his eyes and put his arm around my shoulder, but I shouldered it off.
“If you excuse us, we were talking.” Lily said.
“oh, just go ahead and keep talking. Pretend we’re not even here.” James said. Lily and I gave each other sidelong looks, then we both grinned at each other.
“So, don’t you think that--” Lily started.
“Yeah! And also that--” I started.
“I totally agree! But the other two are--”
“Yeah, there just not--”
“Yeah.” She said. The boys were watching us like a tennis match with confused looks on their faces.
“Lily, we should probably--”
“Yeah, we should.” She said. We both got up and left, laughing. We went to the candy store and got a bag of candy before leaving. We went back to the school, and munched on our candy till Dinner.
